Im 15 he's 24..ughhh?

ok so we started texing each other and we had alot in common and i kinda started liking or atleast enjoyed texting him. after awhile i asked him how old he was because he always kept mentioning about how he has to go to work. he told me 24 and asked me how old i was, i was a little iffy on telling him my age cause i knew he wold ignore me. i told him i was 15 ans he told me i was very muture for may age. after that he stop talking to me. the next day i sent him a text saying "lol i see your ignoring me haha, its ok i understand" it was kind of late at night when i sent this, then hours later he sent me a text saying go to sleep! its way past ur betime. he also said some more little rude comments about my age, but whatever i understand. ughh i like him (ehh kinda) and i want to keep talking to him but i think he's too scared about the age differnece..is there a way i can try and make it work without seeming to clingy and get over the age difference
