Criteria for Affirmative Action?

My uncle Joseph is faculty (ociate Prof.) at Princeton, and he said, that at all good universities like MIT or Yale they use "Brown Bag Test". It means that they compare your skin with color of brown bag, and only if you are darker that bag, you will get bonus points for your race.
