I bought my hamster nearly 4 months ago. Can I introduce him to another hamster ? PLEASE HELP!!!!!?

My hamster Harvey is four months old. He is a Syrian ( or Golden ) hamster. I've had him for three months. He is a male hamster. I just got a female Syrian hamster that is 1 month old. I want them to mate. Do you think Harvey will let Goldie my new hamster mate with him? Thanks in advance!!
