Brief background. My ex girlfriend and I broke up about 3 years ago. It ended with her breaking up with me when she went off to college. She pulled the "wanting to stay friends" act on me...but that didn't really work. Since then I have started up a new relationship with someone else. Recently she has reached out to me and wants to try being "friends" with me. She tries to make it quite clear to me that she is not romantically interested...just strictly platonic (she told me this with the explanation that one day she will tell me that's it's for my own good...not her being selfish). My question is this: Why does she want to be my friend? After all of this time, what draws her to this request? She has plenty of "friends"...I am not sure why she would like to be mine (I understand we have a general caring for one another...but it's still a bit odd). How should i get my hair done?

k my hair right now is a light brown about collar bone length, a bit longer, with layering up to about my cheekbone. i have sideswept bangs that are just longer than my eyebrows. Your mom's relationship, though digusting, is her business as hard as that is to believe. Your opinion, unless she's being phisically hurt is only an opinion...she doesn't have to listen. I do think her forgiving him was a huge mistake but then again she's a grown woman, let her do what she wants. As for your friend, what she did was TOTALLY unacceptable! Like for real, but if you forgave her that's your call....I would never forgive if I was your mom because your friend doesn't know boudaries or respect obviously. She has the right to not want to truly forgive. She is probably taking out her frustrations about your friend and her boyfriend sleeping together just on your friend because she chose to stay with the douch bag! Your relationship with your mom should always come first (unless something major)....but this is nothing that should roughly disturb your relationship with her. Your mom will hold a grudge for a looong time about what happened, that's why she brought her name up, she's still pissed. She needs to let her boyfriend go to because she will always resent him for it too. BUT you can only advise, not force her to. This is complicated and hard I know. i have an izuzu trooper diesel the alternator is not charging. it has a vacuum pump on it driving the brake servo. i have spare secondhand alternators that i can get to fit but they have no pump. can i botch a vacuum line from the breather manifold to the brake servo a la all petrol engines? is there a reason there is an independent vacuum pump on any diesel automobile engine i have seen?

I was trying to free up space on my PC and noticed that there are 3 different places where my doents are saved. Should I keep the regular My Doents on My Computer and delete the others? If you intend to keep the car it might pay to invest in a service manual, a great source for pics. Most cars have thermostats near top of engine as any sludge usually deposits on the bottom. The top radiator hose connects the radiator to the t-stat housing a rounded bubble like structure held in place with 2 bolts. Before you remove it make sure you have a new gasket/s and some gasket cement. Once out inspect for dirt/ deposits. If you find a lot of slimy deposits ( not uncommon ) you'd be well advised to clean out the whole system including radiator. Take the car to a radiator place and they will flush the engine and radiator ( not an expensive job ). That done ensure your ignition timing is correct and that should ensure trouble free motoring.

Should I limit my Rotweillers movements and running around to help the healing of his limp?

My 7 month old rotwieller Zeus was first limping on his back leg and crying every time he tried to get up, it eventually went away. Now for the past week and a half he has been limping on his front left leg and growls at us if we tried checking for thorns etc. We've taken him to the vet on Saturday and they gave us some anti-inflamatories and checked his weight (30.00 kgs) and it seemed like it was better on saturday evening and Sunday but this today he's limping just the same before the vet.The vet said if it does not heal then we'll have to get x-rays done coz he might have a deformity in his elbow joints. I would just like to ask if it would be better for us to keep him in a crate to limit his running around on the sore leg or not. Please help!!!!

it probably isn't the type of bump you normally have. it could be a spider bite or something. something the size of a skittle doesn't sound like an ingrown hair and the reason why it isn't draining is probably because it's not filled with fluid, the bump could be filled with scar tissue or something else that's solid. think about a mosquitoe bite, it's a bump but it won't drain but clear pus and sometimes blood will some out if you pick at it or squeeze it. if it was a mosquitoe bite it would be itchy and would increase in size but there are other bug bites that hurt rather than itch and won't increase in size.

Does anyone know if a blue dwarf gourami would get on with some neon tetras? the guy at my local pet shop who is very helpful told me hes had loads of people have trouble with gourami's being a bit bullying (ie they try to eat the other fish) towards their other fish. So he told me to get some red honey gourami's instead... thing is I have had my heart set on a blue dwarf gourami for AAAAAGES and I dont want to get it if it eats my neons up ... anyway that i can at least help them get along ?? I have been diagnosed with celiac disease. Apparently, the villi grab the nutrients from food in the small intestine, but with C/D, this doesn't happen. For all three of my kids, now ages 2, 4 and 6 I did the same thing I phased it out one at a time, Some people say cold turkey personally I think that is cruel the bottle and rocking with you are a soothing comforting thing and it should not be something your child feels stress over no longer having. I started by doing away with the morning bottle and giving my kids a sippy cup with half water half juice, they seemed happy because the juice was new and exciting. Then about a month later I replaced the bottle before nap in the afternoon with a sippy cup of milk for lunch and we still rocked for a few minutes and I sang two quick song, (rock a bye baby, and take my out to the ball game of course you can choose whatever you like) About a month later I started with a sippy cup of milk for dinner and stopped the bedtime bottle and made sure I gave them a bath everynight and read a couple of books. (just make sure you set a limit with the books or they will keep asking for one more and you will be reading all night).

Frozen tuna steaks? Mahi mahi?

I recently bought some frozen tuna steaks, thawed them, then brushed with melted er, sprinkled with salt n pepper, and some other seasonings. I cooked them in the oven and it took them 20 minutes to get done. I loved the taste but after cooking so long they were tough? Is it ok to cook frozen fish to only medium or medium rare? Me and my girlfriend have been together for 4 years now. There have always been ups and downs in the relationship but we seem to always pull through. We are now just copping with a long-distance relationship (I moved to UC Davis to finish my last year for my BA and she stayed in our hometown.) We just finished having a pretty big argument over trust. Someone has been going behind my back and causing quite a situation amongst me and my family. Unfortunately, all the evidence points to my girlfriend (she and my mom have not had the best relationship, in which case there have been times where I had to choose between the two. Actually, the problem is our relationship and the disapproving ways my family has for her for the past 4 years.) I left out all the possibilities of having it be anyone else and immediately blamed her. We yelled and argued to the brink of her crying and me yelling. After a very painful argument, I realized it may not be her at all (which leads me to a completely different problem, but I can get that later.) I guess I tried to apologize but it was too late. She decided it was best for us to “take a break.” She wouldn’t even accept an “I love you.” I have been having problems with the family and it seemed that it could be traced back to certain letters, emails, and other media forms that have caused my family grief. When I realized that there was a possibility that my girlfriend could hold a part in this, I snapped. How could the person I defended all those arguments end up being the catalyst. It was as if all those wasted arguments with my family were thrown back in my face. But now, I see my error and that it wasn’t her. I really hurt her. Trust is one thing I know a relationship needs in order to survive, and in that moment, I lost that for her. She doesn’t wanna talk to me as of that night. I realize what a huge mistake I’ve made. She openly admitted that she would bend over backwards if it meant my family would accept her. Now I fear that I may have pushed her to the brink of our relationship. It seems I always do this. I always had a fear of losing her from the very beginning. Something about her was different, which is why we are still together now…for now. I love her with all my heart, and I could not bear losing her. She literally completes me. I made a horrible mistake. She even said it will be very difficult for her to forgive me, if she even could. How could I ever make it up to her? How could I show her I love her, and that I am truly, deeply sorry for what I did? I just hope it’s not too late….

Lighting Design Help... CAD that is free?

I am designing the lights for my school talent show in 2 weeks, i am looking for a CAD that i can see a preview of what the stage looks like with the beams of light and such.
